Her Charism: This Sister lives and shares the mystery of the love of Christ among her Sisters in her Community and renders services to the Christian faithful and to the world at large. Her mission is restoring spiritual health and building families and communities where values are nurtured and God is loved and sought above all things. She lives in loving openness to the Will of God through the spirit of the Visitation. Inspired by Mary’s faith-filled journey to her cousin Elizabeth, which shapes both her Community life and her mission, she lives in solidarity with the human family for the salvation of their souls. This Visitation Daughter addresses problems arising from spiritual emptiness and confusion through several diverse ministries which promote physical, spiritual, and psychological wholesomeness. All her work is distinguished by peace, hope, charity, simplicity, and a joyful presence. Like Mary Immaculate, her model, she ponders the Word of God in her heart and moves in haste to share it with families in much need of her assistance (physical or prayerful presence). Filled with charity and with a complete trust in Divine Providence, she carries the Good News and Christ Himself, present in her heart, as she shares the joy and peace of living a strong faith in God. As Mary embraced Elizabeth with open and outstretched arms, so does this Sister with God’s children so that their hearts may leap for joy.
