Her Charism: “One in heart and soul” with her Community of vowed women who embrace diversity, this Sister is a bold risk-taker, a reconciler and peace-maker who is inspired to “go forth and be a light and a blessing in the heart of the world.” Rooted in the Gospel and in the spirituality of St. Francis, and St. Clare, she faces Christ Incarnate and lives the shift from “perfection” to compassion and wholeness. Intelligence, prudence, motherliness, and piety are set as a burning seal upon her heart. Through contemplation she moves out of herself, opening herself to others for others. This Sister listens in a particular way to the cry of the poor and suffering and becomes an instrument of peace, transformation, hope and healing. For her, the intimately united Sacred Hearts of Jesus and His Mother Mary is what love looks like and is the unifying force upholding the universe. The beauty of their hearts are “splattered like sparkles” in her own. as she dreams, dares and deepens her commitment to keeping the flame of hope alive and perform in holy love.
