Her Charism: This Capuchin Sister is an apostolic contemplative who strives to live the spirituality of Nazareth, so dear to the heart of St. Francis of Assisi. It is Nazareth where Jesus lived His “hidden life,” it is where Our Lady received her call, and it is the place where Jesus is identified with the Cross. In this spirituality of the hidden and humble life of Nazareth, she lives under the guidance of the Queen of Heaven and the angels in constant prayer with her eyes always fixed on the Cross. As a virtual beggar, this Sister entrusts herself to Divine Providence and follows the poor humble life of the “Poverello” of Assisi, St. Francis, by living a joyful, simple, and fraternal lifestyle – “so poor in fact, but rich in spirit.” She is a lover of Jesus from Crib to Cross, especially in the Eucharist, and follows the Capuchin way of poverty, prayer, and preaching. Her particular gift is to transform the world through reverence.
