SISTER OF OUR LADY OF REPARATION
Sister of Our Lady of Reparation – Sister Monica Louise of the Eucharistic Heart, D.N.R. Dominae Nostrae Reparationis “She who labors as she prays lifts her heart to God with her hands.” – St. Benedict “Adoration to the Heart of Jesus through the Virgin Mary”
Foundress: Mother Isadore Maria
Place: Ville Platte, Louisiana
Year: 2014 A.D.
Her Charism: Following the Benedictine Rule and embracing Mary as the “Mother of Monasticism,” this Sister rises for prayer when the world is still wrapped in the darkness of night when countless souls are lost, lonely, or enthralled in sinful acts. Her union with God is through prayer and reparation. Relying on the love that Our Lady bears for Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, she unites with her in offering love, solace, and peace to the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus for the good of the Church and all mankind. Her devotion to the Eucharist is the “queen of all devotions.” Ultimately her goal is to unite with Mary Immaculate by striving to imitate her virtues and by sharing in her perfect love for God. This Sister is devout, tenacious, and fiercely determined to remain unshakable in her desire to adore Christ reigning in Mary. Because she believes that behind every great missionary, apostle, or active religious, there is a monastic, this Sister, like St. Thérèse, unites herself forever with the works of the missionary by bonds of prayer, suffering, and love. Her blue habit encourages others to recall the invisible action of Our Lady’s grace and perpetual influence in the course of their own lives.
