Her Charism: Inspired by St. Paul of the Cross, this Sister’s life is interwoven with the Passionist Family. The name reflects her dedication to sharing in the suffering of Jesus and the sorrows of His Mother. Her promise is to keep alive the memory of the Passion of Jesus by living it. She offers her entire being, her simplicity, her humility and her charity to accomplish this. Her will is “to suffer, to bear, and to endure” as a Passionist living in solidarity with and serving the poor and vulnerable and giving them the dignity they deserve. Her spirituality is based on the contemplation of the love of God manifested in the Cross of Jesus Christ wherein lies His Passion and the love of His Sorrowful Mother. This Sister longs for union with Jesus Crucified and she desires to help everyone know and love Him as a friend Who was the poorest of the poor and their Savior. She believes that the Daughters of the Passion were born from the last breath of Jesus on the Cross. This Sister gives life and new expression of the Passionist charism by increasing her missionary and contemplative dynamic. In this way, she “shoulders the Cross” with a beautiful missionary spirit and strives to embody simplicity, humility, and charity through education, evangelization, social work with migrants, and presence.
