Her Charism:  Through her intimate union with Jesus in prayer at all times, her fraternal life, and apostolic services, this Sister participates in the light and life-giving mission of Christ on earth.  She strives to live the values and imitate Christ in His care for the voiceless, the weak,  the distressed and marginalized: all those considered “unwanted:” in society.  Her apostolates include  evangelization, formal and non-formal education, the empowerment of women, the care of orphans, child laborers, school dropouts, the sick and elderly, the mentally and hearing-impaired, and pastoral and prison ministry as well.  Because Jesus chose her to become a glowing lamp through her diverse ministries, she continues to work hard and shine with intensity and passion.  Walking in Jesus’ footsteps, this Benedictine Sister understands that education transforms and enriches the lives she serves.  And so, she strives to empower others through education in order to dispel the darkness of ignorance and illiteracy.  In prayer (which includes Mass and Lectio Divina) this Sister encounters the Eucharistic Lord.  It is the foundation of her life.  Prayer unifies and challenges every aspect of her life.  God is her treasure and prayer is her means for a closer relationship with God and all His children.  In true Benedictine tradition and spirituality, Christ brings her together with her Sisters in charity to form a loving, caring, sharing family to radiate His Light and be that special beacon of hope to spread God’s Kingdom.
