Her Charism:  This Sister is truly an angelic presence in the world.   Angelic is her way of life.  Ergo, rather than being called “Sister.. . etc.”, she is referred to as “Angelica”. . etc.”.  She is a member of the first Religious Order of non-enclosed nuns with an active missionary apostolate and a passion for education and reform (often met with widespread ignorance and resistance).  Her purpose is to be a co-worker with the Barnabite Fathers (with the same founder) in bringing about a renewal of faith in a society that has become very worldly and to revive convents in decline and rekindle Christian fervor for what has been lost.  The spirituality of this Sister is modeled after St. Paul: acquisition of the “light” and “fire needed to be kept spiritually alive and to bring everywhere the vital energy of the Spirit; living and tirelessly announcing the mystery of Christ Crucified and living in the Eucharist; testifying humbly and fervently the faith in Him and passionately embracing a theology of the Cross; a desire for total perfection; and the love for her neighbors through every apostolic activity under the sun.  Her “pauline” spiritual journey is always supported by the Eucharist, reconciliation, prayer, contemplation, and rejection of the spirit of the world and purification of the will (saeculo renuntiantes), total dedication to God above all (totosque nos Deo dedicantes), and unconditional, universal, and preferential love for the poor and the promotion of justice and peace (animarum saluti deserviamus).  Strengthened by prayer and  community life, her life is an angelic witness to the Crucified and Eucharistic Lord.  She is committed to the reform and renewal of society and building up of the Church by preaching to every human being to become a new creation in the Risen Christ, educating, ministering in foreign missions, and being open to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.  Like her sainted founder, she “runs like a madman not only to God, but also toward her neighbors.”
