Her Charism:  Because the first Catholic nun was Our Lady, she leads the way for this Daughter. to assist her in her apostolic mission to bringing souls to Christ.  Fortified with “heaven-sent” strength, she imparts a hidden apostolic fruitfulness to parishes, causing the Christian community to grow.  Her charism finds expression in three (3) Marian “labors of love.”  (1)  Radically given to prayer, she prays the Sacred Liturgy and the Divine Office daily  because there is a direct correlation between the two.  (2)  Her interior (spiritual) life and possessing a healthy asceticism exemplify that she chooses God above all things.  Daily Eucharistic Adoration helps her enter more deeply into Jesus’ Paschal Mystery.  The Way of the Cross unites her more closely to Our Lady and her martyrdom as well.  (3)  She makes known the Truth, Goodness and Beauty of Life in Christ by serving in practical ways in a parish setting.  By her sacrifices and gifts of prayer and praise, she brightens God’s people with the richest splendors of sanctity.  With the  example of her life, she affords the highest recommendation for her life-long commitment to Christ and His Mother and inspires healthy family life and vibrant vocations in the parish.  She serves parishes by assisting in the catechesis of the young, continuing in the pattern of Christ and working for the upbuilding of the Church and the sanctification of priests according to Heaven’s design.  The sanctification of God’s people is Our Lady’s labor, her work, and the one Who still wails aloud as She labors to give birth,  This Daughter is a witness to the glory of Heaven while spending her life in God’s service by helping the Sweet Babe of Bethlehem come and “take birth” in others’ hearts.
