Founders:  Bishop Philibert de Bruillard                                                                                                                       Henriette Duluy-Fabry

Place:  Grenoble, France

Year:  1871 A.D.

Her Charism:  This Sister embodies the message of “the beautiful lady bathed in light” as described by Mélanie Calvat and Maxim Giraud, the children to whom Our Lady appeared.    In the spirit of Reconciliation, which is the grace of La Salette, she is called to preach the Word of God, to exercise the ministries of prayer and sacrifice, to celebrate the Eucharist, and to heal the hurts and deepen the people’s awareness of God’s ongoing call to repentance.  Our Lady wanted the urgent message of her Son known to all and to reassure us that she constantly intercedes for us before God.  She is the Reconciler of Sinners, calling us back to mercy and compassion incarnate, the Source of Life, and the God of infinite tenderness.            † The hammer on her pectoral cross symbolizes the sins of humanity that put the nails into the Hands of Jesus.  The pincers symbolize the good actions she does to remove the nails from His Hands. †
