Her Charism:  Consecrated to being a trusting, hopeful and merciful presence, this Sister prepares the way for the coming reign of God.  She seeks ongoing conversion of heart while living Gospel values.  The source of her charism is the compassionate love of God Who emptied Himself in Jesus to the point of dying on a Cross.  She listens intently for and hears the call of God in the many and varied needs of the present times, and responds with openness and characteristic Franciscan enthusiasm.  This Sister is inspired and compelled    to make something of that beautiful and incandescent love visible to others in our time          in the world where all people are brothers and sisters.  She believes as her founders believed that “as long s there is a poor child under the sun, she too cannot rest.”  She will be on the battlefield nursing the soldiers, enfolding the sick in her arms – even those with contagious disease.
