Her Charism: This Sister of Charity emanates from “America’s Holy Land” and is impelled by the love of Christ in the tradition of St. Vincent de Paul. With her pioneer spirit, this “lily in the wildwood with a bright mind and generous heart” is committed to working for justice in solidarity with oppressed peoples, especially women and the economically poor, and to care for and be a good steward of the earth. She has a special devotion to the care of orphans and education.
