Her Charism:  This Sister’s motto is “truth in the light of the Gospel and the need for human compassion and mercy.”  For 800 years the Dominican charism has been “to contemplate the Truth and share with others the fruits of this contemplation” (Contemplare et Contemplata Aliis Tradere).  As a creative interpreter of Dominican life, this Sister’s mission is to be a preacher of grace, to meet the needs of our pressing times, and build bridges of understanding, hope, and compassion for all God’s children and nourish relationships.  Foundational to her mission are the four pillars of prayer, study, ministry, and community.  As a preacher, this Sister is committed to truth and compelled to justice in the name of immigrants and education.  She concretely believes that language saves faith and that Dominicans are the greatest talkers since the Greeks.  With a burning desire to keep alive the passion of        St. Dominic, she continues the mission of Jesus to courageously spread the fire of God’s love and enlighten the minds and hearts of people with truth and God’s abiding Presence.
