Place: Kingston, Jamaica

Her Charism: After giving all her personal belongings away, this Sister begins a busy new life building up the Kingdom of God by praising and serving Him in the least of our brothers and sisters. It is Jesus Who appears to her in the images of the poor, the destitute, the homeless, and abandoned. In addition to the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, she takes a fourth vow of service to the poor. Her particular mission is to care for pregnant women in crisis. and the abandoned children with physical and mental disabilities. She helps women with their prenatal and postnatal care as well as with their newborns. Through her, the Author of Life hears the bitter cries of the unborn infants crying out for mercy. Through her tender, loving care for the orphans, this Sister becomes their saving grace at a time and in a world that proclaims human life is worthless, and if defective, disposable.
