Her Charism:  This Sister is a compassionate presence to the poor and the sick.  In imitation for Mary’s Fiat (“Yes”) that helped bring salvation to the world, she immerses herself in prayer and “walks with the people” weaving hospitality, compassion, and availability into the tapestry of her daily life.  Her humble service draws inspiration from the Virgin Mary, the handmaid of the Lord, and prolongs the mercy of the Mother of God.  Holding Jesus as the center of her life and Mary as her model of humility, watchfulness, and faith, she lives her solemn commitment to bring Christ to the people by teaching children and bringing God’s word, love, understanding, and healing to all she serves.  This Sister willingly stays with Mary at the foot of countless crosses to offer comfort and love to the anguished and to those who are severely tried by their suffering.
