KKOTTONGNAE SISTER OF JESUS

Kkottongnae (“Flower Village”) Sister of Jesus –  Sister Anna Columba Pak Agi, K.S.J.                                                                     “A world where no one is forsaken”

Founder:  Reverend John Oh Woong-jin

Place:  Eumsung, South Korea

Year:  1976 A.D.

Her Charism:  Armed with the joy of the Holy Spirit, this sister practices Jesus’ love – an ideal form of love associated with flowers.  She serves in a Community of love and salvation.  Her focus is on the least one who does not have the energy to even beg for food and feels abandoned by society and is silently waiting on the streets and under bridges because of lack of love.  She protects and nurses the poorest of the poor with her warm heart, providing food, a home, and medical care.  She loves them in Jesus’ name and leads them to God’s heavenly feast through Baptism of water and the spirit.  Kkottongnae is defined as being “true happiness which lies in contentment.”  Contentment is a state where one’s desires are being fulfilled.  Love fulfills and saves.
