SISTER OF THE NEW COVENANT
Sister of the New Covenant – Sister Yvette Marie of the Blessed Sacrament Communauté de la Nouvelle Allíance “To serve Divine Mercy by radiating the love of the Eucharist”
Foundress: Mother Marie-Aimée
Place: Chapelle-Montligion, Séez, France
Year: 1994 A.D.
Her Charism: Inspired by two Passionist saints, St. Paul of the Cross (priest) and St. Gemma Galgani (nun), this Sister represents the covenant between God and His children through the institution of the Holy Eucharist at the Last Supper. The colors of her religious habit reflect the wheat and wine of this sacrament. Her charism is to serve in simplicity and joy and to adore the most merciful Heart of Christ present and shining in the Eucharist. She is resolutely contemplative: dedicated to God alone in silence, solitude, prayer, and joyful penance; and ardently missionary: visiting isolated individuals and bearing witness to God’s love and mercy in parishes, schools and on retreats. She has developed spiritual (compassionate) listening for those who have been tested both morally and spiritually.
