Foundress:  María del Carmen Josefina Urquiza Fernández de Jáuregui

Place:  Tlalnepantla, Mexico

Her Charism:  This Sister is a chosen woman who is called and sent out by God to show His mercy and love through the apostolate of teaching the young.  Her spirituality is a blend of Salesian active service with the Franciscan contemplative spirit of poverty, humility, simplicity, and joy.  She does ordinary things in extraordinary ways, accepts whatever the day brings, and offers it all as prayer.  Her devotion to Mary, the Eucharist, the joy and hope involved in education, and fidelity to the Church are all part of her path to holiness.  Holiness for her always consists in being cheerful and possessing a smile and a wonderful sense of humor.
