Her Charism: This indigenous woman aspires to love God as did St. Francis – by cultivating a spirit of meekness, littleness, and humility. In so doing, she becomes an instrument of peace and salvation for the sick and suffering. She models the tender virtues and forbearance of St. Bernadette who brought hope (and continues to bring hope) and healing to a multitude of earthly pilgrims, and vows to be closer to people and accompany them according to each one’s life situation. Devoted to Mary’s maternal Heart, she spreads the Good News joyfully through all her ministries with the elderly poor and isolated as well as in schools, hospitals, and orphanages. Her particular joy is working with the HIV and AIDS victims.
