Her Charism: Contemplating the Pierced Heart of Jesus Crucified, this Sister obtains the desire to be a missionary. Hers is a life of prayer, penance, and apostolic activity. This Sister accepts the mandate to announce the love of God for every creature. In this way, she becomes “a simple earthen vessel” – a humble and fraternal message of Jesus’ presence in every person and a herald of His peace and reconciliation, especially for the poor and marginalized. With her life being formed around a “common heart” of compassion and the redemptive love of Jesus for all people she encounters, she takes that fervor of the soul into her classroom, into hospitals, prisons, orphanages, and wherever charitable assistance is needed and holiness is to be experienced and reproduced.
