Her Charism:  This Sister serves the poorest of the poor with joy in the name of her patroness, the Virgin of the Poor, who appeared in Banneux, Belgium.  She appeared speaking these words:  “I come to relieve suffering.”  The apostolate of this Sister is modeled after Our Lady’s words.  As a contemplative in action, she strives to unite the vocations of the Biblical Mary and Martha.  Strengthened by her love and devotion to Jesus in the Eucharist and a robust prayer life, she serves the sick, homeless, disabled, unwed mothers, and orphans, relieving the suffering of Jesus in the poor.
