Her Charism: The primary objective of this cloistered Benedictine Sister is to make the mystery of the Cross brilliant and shining by surrendering and offering herself to the Will of God, particularly in the state of illness or physical disability. This Sister embodies a joyful participation in the Paschal Mystery of Christ and lives in the light of redemptive suffering. She allows her wounds to be healed in the Blood of the Cross so that the brokenness of the Body of Christ will be mended in her and around her until all will be one. Hers is a daily “Passover” lived out in the contemplation of Jesus Crucified and in the radiance of His Resurrection. This humble and happy Sister shares in the divine dispositions of the Divine Victim. Her disability is a blessing in disguise because it deepens contact with spiritual realities on which her soul depends. She is our treasure in an earthen vessel.
