Her Charism: This Bride of Christ and daughter of St. Teresa of Ávila is a sign that the Gospel is real in the present world. Her vocation is to live in and for the Heart of Eucharistic Jesus. She pours her life out like water to alleviate His thirst, oil for the lamp that gives Him light, and balm to anoint the wounds of His Heart. She is like two aged hands holding the paten before the Heart of Christ on which rests all humanity. This new Carmel is an anticipated Heaven before life is over – a time stolen from eternity. This Carmelite Sister becomes the crucified Jesus Who cries for those who do not believe and do not love. She cries for them and dies for them with arms outstretched between Heaven and earth, and is the fresh, transparent drop of water on Jesus’ lips that soften His thirst a little.
