Her Charism: Passionate about loving Jesus, Mary, the Truth, and the Church, this Sister’s day is shaped by the rhythm of the Liturgy of the Eucharist at the heart of her life. An educator and great listener by vocation, she wants to make Jesus known and loved. Her mission is both contemplative prayer filled with “fire, passion, and ardent love” and an active offering of education in light of Gospel values for the transformation of society. For her, to educate is to allow for a continual outpouring of the Holy Spirit – a communicating of Christ to souls. By union with Him, she becomes a ray of His light – keeping contact with Him Who is the Sun of Justice and the Source of all Truth. This Sister allows the good to break through the rock of imprisonment and bring it to the light where it can blossom and shed its radiance. She does this to honor the mystery of the Incarnation and the sacred person of Jesus Christ. In addition to the three evangelical vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, this Sister takes a fourth vow: to consecrate her whole life to extending the Kingdom of God in souls through a transformative education which develops both the mind and the character of a person. This Sister is the “cotton between the sheets of glass” that keeps others from shattering and transforms everything to praise and thanksgiving to Jesus Christ Who brings true liberation. Through Him all society will change for the good.
