Her Charism:  This Sister embodies the kindness, charism (the “divine spark”, energy, grace, and warmth of the heart of the foundress flowing into the heart of her daughters), forbearance, and heritage of Venerable Catherine McCauley under the patronage of Mary, the Mother of Mercy.  She is called to be a point of convergence between the mercy of God and the misery of mankind.  Believing that mercy is the “kiss” given to justice, she incarnates the mercy of God and offers witness of it in service to the poor, sick, and suffering primarily in the area of healthcare.  This Sister is an instrument of unity and mercy within the Church and charity is her “badge of honor” so that there be in her “one heart and one soul in God.”
