Her Charism: Marian devotion has a central place in this Sister’s prayer, her work, and her entire life. She has a deep childlike relationship with Mary, her Queen and Victress, and is an instrument in her holy hands. She strives to be like her in the midst of the world where people rejoice and have hope, and where they live in grief and fear. This Sister enters into a “covenant of love” with Mary and “exchanges hearts” with her. As a messenger sent to work on God’s behalf, she is to be a heroine of everyday sanctity and give the world a “Marian Face.” She seeks to be Mary’s eyes, ears, hands, and heart and reconnect faith with daily life, especially through a deep love and selfless service. In the “covenant of love” with Mary, she wants to help in the moral and religious renewal of neighbor and self and lead all to the Blessed Trinity. † Schöenstatt means “Beautiful Place. †
