Her Charism: Daring to affirm, more than ever, the beauty and greatness of life in all its suffering mystery, this Little Sister offers herself to God in witness to the Gospel of Life for the weakest and most helpless among us. But her soul is not disabled; it is one of prayer. She, who has the “last place in the world” and is the smallest in the Kingdom, holds in the Church the exceptional place of being the Spouse of Jesus Christ. This Sister lives a simple and holy Benedictine life of poverty and manual labor. Yet every day she enters the Carmelite “School of St. Thérèse” following her Little Way. She knows that great actions are forbidden her by her bodily nature, but her prayers are her way of “scattering flowers for Jesus.”
