Her Charism: This Augustinian nun is continually and insatiably drawn to God. She is drawn by a natural longing which God Himself, as a wise Creator, has placed in her heart. Her hidden life of prayer is like a sanctuary candle which burns quietly and steadily beside the tabernacle. It bears silent witness to the absolute and unquenchable love of God for His children and to His desire for our response of love in return. Her cloister is a privileged place for meeting God Who is Truth, Goodness, Beauty, and Love. Under the protection of Our Lady of Good Counsel, her life of prayer and contemplation is a liturgy of love, praise, adoration, intercession, and reparation. The Church’s journey is entrusted to the loving hearts and praying hands of these cloistered nuns who allow the Holy Spirit to peacefully descend into their hearts and where Jesus scatters His cheerful beams. Anima una et cor unum in Deum † “One soul and one heart in God” is this nun’s felicity.
